The Two-Headed Household: Gender and Development in The Ecuadorean Andes
Abstract
The Two-Headed Household (Hogar con Dos Cabezas) por Sarah Hamilton, un aporte en los estudios de género y desarrollo rural, es el resultado de una investigación realizada en la comunidad indígena agrícola de Chanchaló, cantón de Salcedo en la provincia de Cotopaxi en la sierra central de Ecuador. El trabajo de campo se desarrolla entre los años 1992-1993, con beca de Fullbright y el apoyo de la Fundación para el Desarrollo Agropecuario (FUNDAGRO).
