Un día de acción por la biodiversidad
Abstract
A pesar del proceso de colonización impulsado por el actual modelo de desarrollo, todavía se conservan algunas prácticas tradicionales de los pueblos en su relación con la naturaleza. Este es el caso del pueblo shuar que habita en la Cordillera del Cóndor, en la provincia ecuatoriana de Morona Santiago, un lugar megadiverso y con grandes riquezas naturales en cuanto a flora, fauna y recursos minerales. En este esfuerzo por conservar su cultura y naturaleza, el propio pueblo shuar ha tomado protagonismo en la transmisión de sus conocimientos, a través del Instituto Superior Pedagógico Intercultural Bilingüe Shuar-Achuar (ISPEDIBSHA1), con el apoyo de la Misión Salesiana y la Cooperación Técnica Alemana (GTZ).Downloads
